I shot my Performance Center M&P 45 for the first time last week. This is a new gun that has never been fired. When I disassembled it to clean, the recoil spring assembly came apart. It has a small and a larger spring on the assembly. I called S&W to get it replaced but they said they don’t sell the parts anymore. Can someone recommend a someone that sells parts for this gun. Thanks.

Agreed, call them back, and ask to speak directly to upper management.
If it is a Shield 45 3.3 barrel length, they`re occasionally known for this problem.
The Shield 45 in the 4 inch model has a single spring and guide rod, and by far, is a better system.

That’s for damn sure!
Tell them that they can send you a new recoil assembly; or they can send you a call tag and they can put a new one in! (And pay shipping; both ways.)
