Every pic I've seen of the M&P is the same. I don't know if I'm looking at pics with a lock or without the lock.



What does the internal lock look like?

externally, the hole by the beavertail will be plugged up if it doesn't have a lock.

I talked to S&W about the lock. What they told me was that none of the M&P's have the external lock. The rep. hinted that the lock might be asscoiated with some kind of functioning problem and the factory was NOT putting them into production. FWIW.

I wonder if they'll redo the frames on the new guns coming out to delete the hole and plug then.

None has an integral external lock ... but mine has an internal lock (and a couple black keys). :wink:
