Hot discussion on proposed 3lb trigger pull on Production Guns in their forum. Also a poll. I don't shoot USPSA that much, but since Area8 match is at my home club I may shoot it so I would rather not worry how my M&P or Glock's trigger measures out. Check out the rules.

All USPSA Shooters should go the USPSA Forum and join if you haven't joined yet!!

Vote on the Poll there!!

This is Important, the USPSA BOD is looking at the USPSA Forum and responding accordingly!!

This is going at 86% against the Trigger Pull Rule!!

The proposed rules I'm most interested in are the holster / mag carrier rules - Simply because I own about 4 Bladetech DOH holsters, I'm not real happy about these proposals. I even shoot a DOH in Limited and this rule could possibly impact my DOH in that division as well.

The minimum trigger pull proposal I'm less worried about other than the complexities of how they will measure this at a match - I don't shoot light triggers on production guns anyway. My glocks and M&P are all between 3.5lbs and 4lbs. However, I voted against it in the Poll thread.

On the brighter side of things there appears to be an allowance to stipple or checker the grip of a production gun. I'm not sure exactly what that means but it might be a good deal for us M&P shooters - having the grip insert stippled would make a huge difference for me. Maybe I read that wrong but that's what it looks like.

It is probably important to note that these are proposed rules...and, if passed, wouldn't go into effect until 2008.

Please get over to the USPSA Forum and make yourself heard.
