How hard would it be to get the Florida permit and what is the average waiting period? I am going down this fall to visit my uncle and thought about taking the class to get my non res permit while I was down there... I have my South Carolina permit..

I applied for Florida CCW in the end of April and I still not received it. So, your looking at 90-120 wait, I guess.

Ok.. That is what I was wondering .. I had to wait exactly 62 days for my SC permit.. But I know some that had to wait 90 days or so.. One of the local gun shops here is supposed to start classes.. But the instructor hasn't been sent yet to Florida to get certified... To be honest, I just wish they would pass the National Reciprocity Act.. Where if you have a CWP in your home state, you can carry in any state.. It will be like the way drivers licenses are now....
