I am a relatively new MP owner. I am a long time Glock owner. I routinely use four drops of oil to lube a Glock (once and a while I add a fifth drop). On the Glocks, I put one drop on each slide rail, one on barrel/hood and one on the barrel locking lugs.

My question is, does the MP require more lubrication than the abve-described lubrication for Glocks? If so, where else should I lubricate my MP.

Thanks!

No, I'd recommend that same point of lubrication. For the Glock I also like to add a drop where the trigger bar and connector meet. For the M&P, I'll add a drop where the Trigger Bar and Sear meet.

wahoo95,

Thanks. I too put a drop where the Glock trigger bar and connector meet, just not every time. That was the fifth drop to which I alluded in my post. I appreciate confirmation that the M&P trigger bar to sear connection is the functional equivalent.
