Visiting the Alameda CA area next week. "NOT BRINGING MY PISTOL"- OFFICER. Does anyone know of an indoor range which rents guns? Is this even legal in Kalifornia?

There is an indoor range about 7 miles from Alameda in San Leandro. Don't know if they rent or not, though. I've never been to this one.

There are three others in the SF Bay Area that I've been to that have rentals:

Of the three, I prefer Jackson Arms. All three will not rent to you if you are alone or already have your own gun.

Thanks for the info. It's amazing to me that they have a two person rule for rentals (to prevent suicides)

If you have a secure place to store your own handgun, you can bring your own. The main thing is the mag capacity.

Thanks to all..ended up renting at Targetmaster (very friendly and helpful)

Next time I visit I'll bring my own (with a legal mag of course)
