Nothing too crazy, I was just curious as to some of your all time favorite books. I am always trying to get some more titles, outside of the professional military list I have. Two good ones I have come across:

Unintended Consequences by John Ross

Gates of Fire by Stephen Pressfield

I would recommend Unintended Consequences to anyone on this forum, and if it doesnt get you fired up at the mere mention of gun control, then check your pulse, because you are probably dead. Excellent book if you have the time.

Also Gates of Fire for anyone who enjoyed the movie 300.

I also just started reading 'Gates of Fire' after reading some great reviews over on ARFCOM. I really like Historical Fiction as long as they stick with the overall facts of the true event. So far I'm really enjoy this one. Loved the movie 300!!

The last book I read was 'The Pirate Coast' by Richard Zacks. Very good, it basically covers what '...from the shores of Tripoli' from the Marine Corp Hymn refers to. A part of early U.S. history I just wasn't really aware of.

Cheers....Obi-GUN
