They buried a really good friend and fellow gun lover today. Had the big "C"

Here I set in Virginia visiting the grand children and couldn't go to the calling hours or the funeral.

I know he would not have wanted it any other way but I wish I could have been there. I talked to him several times on the phone but he did not want me to visit. I guess he did not want me to see him in that condition.

We were going to go shoot a few months ago and he called it off. Didn't say why. He told me a couple of weeks ago, he got one of his .22 autos out to go and couldn't work the slide. I wish he had told me at the time.

I didn't find out about his condition until a month ago.

He knew the Lord and that makes it easier.

A good friend of my family has the same and is having a very hard time.
