Has anyone swapped slides on a shield plus with another shield plus. For example I have shield plus performance center 3.1” with thumb safety and a shield plus with optic (new) also 3.1” barrel no thumb safety. Can I swap the slides? Has anyone shot this combo?

I have two shield plusses.
I tried to swap slides, just to check interchangeability. One slide fit the other frame, one didn't. I didn't try very hard. Wasn't willing to break anything by using force.

can swap them with no issues just wondering if anyone has tried and fired them. I didn’t want to break anything but as far as I can tell they are identical and should work. Again these are 2 shield plus’s. Just one is performance center non-optic and the other is optic ready non performance center. Both are 3.1” barrels.
