Congrats on you M&P .45. I got one as well, it too is black w/ no manual safety, mag disconnect or lock. I put 150 through it and sent it off for a trigger job. Mine was brutal, about 7.5lbs. Despite that, I could tell the thing is capable of very accurate fire.

where for the trigger job and what's the turn around time?

I sent it to Bowie Tactical Concepts. This will be my 3rd M&P I sent to him.

I already have two full size 9mm's with is S trigger package on them.
