OK when I was buying my M&P .40 I asked they guy where I can pick up Shotshells for when I am hiking and run into a snake that poses a threat to me. He say you can't really shoot ShotShells threw this gun. So my question is am I able to shoot Shotshells threw my M&P .40? Thanks everyone, also if I can anyone know whwere I can pick some up.?

CCI makes some. It may not operate the slide. You may have to single cycle it.



I use a big stick to move them or simply go around.



If you are so close you have to shoot them you are probably too late.

For the most part, shotshell rounds do not behave well in semi-auto pistols. It's just a fact of life, and not specific to the M&P.

If you run across a snake just throw it up in a tree and then call 911. An officer will show up and start shooting at it for you :twisted:

I use CCI's in my Taurus 9mm and they function fine. you will just have to buy some and try it!!
