I just had the opportunity to shoot a 229DAK a couple weeks ago. While i did like the trigger a lot, its definitely not very much like the M&P's trigger. WHere the M&P has a lot of light takeup before the break the DAK feels much more like a slick revolver, I assume because the trigger is fully retracting and releasing the hammer during the stroke. I loved the way it felt, really smooth and light, but its night and day different in feel compared to M&P. The DAK is much better than SIG's traditional DA/SA IMHO. Just my $.02
If i ever had enough cash to buy a SIG it'd be one of their 1911GSR models, the traditional pistols just don't feel right to me, a little chunky. Maybe my M&P is spoiling me 8)
