From what I've seen it looks to be an outstanding pistol... the modular grip frames (with serial#d receiver within the grip frame) is a remarkable feature in a pistol. It looks about the size of an M&P Compact with similar styling. Looking forward to seeing how they are once they've been out for a while... I'm thinking they will wind up being one of the top choices in polymer pistols. I've never really been a fan of SIGs before (though I know they outstanding pistols) but this new SIG may very well turn me around on that.

I've always like Sig, but they are quite expensive. The last time I check, the P239 was going for almot $800.00 at my local gun shop, and the the P229 was almost $900.00. I do have to admit one thing, Sig makes really nice pistols. They are very accurate, but a little on the heavy side. The P250 looks to be promising, but I hope it doesn't turn out to be another Sig Pro...which in my opinion, was the worse pistol Sig ever released. It was big and bulky, and worse of all, it felt like crap in my hands.

Regardless, I'll stick with my M&P 40C until the P250 is fully tested and proven!!! Although I have no doubt in Sig (besides the Sig Pro), I'll still wait to see the results.

The interchangeable frame is similar to the way Kel-Tec does the P32. You can order a different grip in other colors and the internal frame is the serialized part.

I too am excited to see how this pistol lives up when it actually gets to the real world in commercial quantities. Looks like it could be a lot of fun.

Nearly bought a Sig....

No doubt Sigs are great pistols but they ought to be for the $800.00 to $900.00 price. I nearly bought a Sig that was factory reconditioned with interchangable 40 cal. & 9mm barrels (I think) at a gun show for a little over $500.00. Probably should have bought it but I am very satisfied with my MP's. 8)

The only SIG I have ever shot was my friend's P229DAK.. I didn't like the trigger.. It felt spongy.. I thought it was me.. But another friend of ours shot it also and made the exact same commit.. I don't think all SIGs are like that.. But I wasn't impressed with SIG pistols after that.. Then the price he paid for it.. I was like.. Hmmm.. I could have bought a full size and a compact M&P for that.. LOL
