The top of my rear sights are losing the black color. The top of the metal sight frame is spotting. I am curious as to if gun oil or maybe some bore cleaner got on my silicon rag and would cause this?



Just wanted to add, I love these night sights. A nice glow when dark and large white circle during lighted shooting.

The rear sight is typical. Just wear, normal.

But I haven't holstered it or anything that I would consider wear. Are they that fragile?

I never paid attn when I got it, but I never felt that the finish on the rear sight was all that great anyway. Its kinda shiny.
