Recent purchased a MP 22 Compact. Cleaned and lubed it today and loaded the magazine for the 1st time. Seemed straight forward but looks now odd with the cartridges not all smartly stacked vertically. Some of the cartridges have shifted out of alignment. What am i doing wrong? Seems almost like the magazine is slighty wide. My SW Shield EZ 9 magazine holds everything perfectly aligned.

That's the way they load......a little more room in the body of the magazine for the cartridge rim, all of that excess tolerance is corrected at the back of the magazine feed lips to capture the round properly. The Manual photo shows a similar situation.

Thank you - I hadn't noticed that image in the guide. Feeling much better knowing that this is standard for this magazine.
