I shot my M&P again tonight. The trigger is nice and smooth after I polished it. I didn't remove any metal; I just polished all the trigger parts that rub one another. Removing the rear sight to get the FPS out was easy. I didn't try to remove the pin that holds the extractor in. I read that it is tight, so I will do that another day.
I have over 1000 rounds through this M&P now. No problems at all. At this point I feel this gun is reliable for carry/protection. I can't wait to try out my new holster when I get it!!
I also had the pleasure to shoot a M&P Compact 9mm tonight. A friend of mine bought one, so I went to the range with him to shoot it. I really, really want one!!! It was everything the fullsize is, just smaller. I will get one, but I will probably have to sell one of my Glocks to fund it. Decisions, decisions.
