i've been thanking about it for a while now and after reading about

the m&p and looking at at my local gun shop i belave that the m&p

is a better choice it feels better in my hand it seems better made

i still like my glocks also but the m&p 40 just seems like a better

buy.i just picked it up today plan on taking it to the range tommrow.

Congrats, let us know what you think. I was at the range yesterday, and now that I am more comfortable, decided to try a glock and XD again. I think I made the right choice for me. They had a 9mm in the shop, but I am going to hold off for a gun show and try and pick up the 9 and compact 9 in a package deal.

Congrats on your M&P. After firing the Glocks and XD's then the M&P I chose the M&P40. To me fired and handled way better than the other 2. When I fired my M&P for the first time, a couple of guys at the range had glocks and XD's. Fired those and I knew that I made the right choice. Matter of fact the guy with the XD 45 said he was going to buy a M&P because it felt great.
