I know this is way off topic but I did a search and didn't notice anyone out there having a thread about their favorite music. What do you guys out there like? Personally I like "good music", which means a little of everything basically. I think there can be good music of any genre. Right now I'm listening to a fellow I've gotten quite fond of lately. I believe i saw him originally when someone linked me to him playing Africa - Toto. This guy makes me wish I had picked up guitar and not bass. His original stuff however is just fantastic. He plays guitar on some tracks, and a very interesting "Harp Guitar" (a conjoined guitar and harp) for other tracks. I'm going to link a couple for you guys and I hope you enjoy. If you enjoy there are way more of him on youtube aswell.

LOL,

I guess I'll let you man the radio if we ever ride in a car together. I don't think you'd be happy with my presets.

I like all the music listed above, however, Primus is my favorite band. Les Claypool is the reason I started playing six string bass. However, I will add early Marilyn Manson to the list... his early stuff was great (he went to my high school).

More than listening to music, I love turning others onto new music. Which leads me to ask, did anyone like Andy McKee from any of the links above that had never seen him before?

Yea, he was good (Andy McKee).

Early Manson I will agree on... I can't listen to anything after Antichrist...

I forgot Danzig... I can't believe I forgot Danzig and The Doors. So much good music, so little space to post about it,

I'm pretty diverse when it comes to musical interests. Right now, my playlist seems to revolve around the following:

Kid Rock, George Strait, Beastie Boys, Sublime, Guns N Roses, Tech N9ne (local KC area rapper), Hank Williams Jr., Motley Crue, Toby Keith, and Young Jeezy (rapper with a raspy voice that cracks me up... hahahaha!).

Anyway... I've also been listening to some Cross Canadian Ragweed lately but the ones listed above are what is most likely to be playing at any given time around me.
