In case nobody mentioned it the Uplula is the best, LOL. Even after the mag spring gets softer or your thumb get stronger or both using the Uplula is much faster & when you're paying for range time by the hour I'd rather spend it shooting.
I plan to do some classes and want to use my Shield since that what I carry. I'm sure every one else will be carrying their G19s. I'm looking for a speed loader so I can keep up with the high cap mags.
The Universal Uplula works with 9mm to .45acp double stack mags, although it's a tight fit on my FNX-45 mags, although it fits my CZ 97B double stack .45 mags just fine.
Uplula also makes a smaller version for calibers below 9mm, I think it's called the Baby Lula or some such. I've heard it's actually a better fit for the single stack 9mm mags but the Universal does it all.
At the risk of sounding like a corporate shill, I've also got Uplula mag loaders for AR, AK and Colt SMG (for 9mm AR mags). I'm not buying & carrying nearly as many mags to the range anymore.
I just picked up my UPLULA yesterday. I'm so glad I did! It definitely makes loading much quicker & really saves on wear & tear on my thumbs. Thank you all for your knowledge & input. Y'all are greatly appreciated! 😊
So I just got my Shield 9mm just some days ago and while the 8 round was stiff to insert, the 7 round was impossible with out slamming it in very hard (harder than it should need)
After a while I got sick of it and looked up fixes but could not find any.
Do you know of any fixes?
I did find...
I have a 9mm 1.0 Shield that I ruined trying to stipple, I sent it to S&W to replace the frame but in case they don't, if I get a .40 1.0, are the slides interchangeable? How about with the 2.0?

I just purchased a new M&P Shield 45. Serial number HWMxxxx. Adventure Outdoors in Marietta, GA had them on sale for $399. Brought it home, cleaned and inspected it. All good.
I went to load both the six- and seven-round magazines. I could only get 4 rounds in each one, and that was a struggle...
New to all this--
I took my 9mm EZ to range for first time. I cleaned it lightly first. Wiping down with wet patches and oiling with wet patches and QTips. The pointed ones. Cleaned and lightly oiled barrel. Hit the lube points per "multiple videos" I watched and S&W Manual.
I shot a magazine...
