Hey All. So I just pick up my new M&Pc in 9mm tonight. I field stripped, cleaned, and lubed it. I'm very impressed with it's fit and finnish and I can't wait to shoot it.

My question is...when the slide is off of the frame, I am able to move the striker without pressing the "little button" (sorry about the lack of correct terminology) Is this how it is supposed to work?

I am familiar with sigs and know that you should not be able to move the firing pin withou dissingaging the firing pin block.

Any insight is appreciated. Thanks.

pull the striker to the rear a bit, more than likely its resting in front of the block when your trying this.
