This is my HD gun and I'd like suggestions on a light that wont's extend past the barrel nor is too heavy. Prefer 500-800 lumens. Wasn't sure which of the Streamlight models matches up well with this full size model. Thoughts? Thanks.

I don't like the lights that have to be removed from the rail to change out the batteries (TLR1). I bought one years ago and while it works, I've bought different lights since that one.

I have a TLR7A on a 2.0 Compact .45 acp. Those have 4" barrels/slides and the front of the light is pretty much even with the end of the slide. On your 9MM with 1/4" more barrel/slide the front of the light would be slightly back from the muzzle. All you need to do to replace the battery is unload the pistol, insure it's unloaded and unscrew the lens cap. This one also has a "safety" for the light. Turn the lens till it stops and the light will not come on. Turn it just past where it first stops and you'll hear a clicking noise. After that noise and small amount of tightening turn the light will function normally..

Thought I had a picture of that one, but I don't. Sorry.

I have two weapon lights and several flashlights from OLight and really like them. All of mine are rechargeable and pricing was great.

M&P full size 9mm with OLight Baldr Mini. It has 600 lumen light and green dot laser. This is my EDC.

9mm with OLight Baldr S. This one has low and high lights, strobe and laser sight. Lovely Wife likes this one so it actually lives on her M&P .380 Shield EZ. I put it on my full size 9mm for the picture.

OLight has been great for me and either one looks like it will do what you would like.

Another vote for TLR7 from me. Been carrying it for a bit now, works awesome. I have mine a little forward on the underrail with the plates if comes with, but I have bigger hands and my finger likes to hit the power button on the light if I have it further back on the rail.
