This may sound like a dumb question, but I am still new to handguns. There is a solid pin under the slide takedown lever that runs through the frame. Should this pin be flush with both sides of the frame, or does it need to stick out on the sid ewith the takedown lever?

I noticed, after shooting, that it sticks out some on mine and couldn't remember if it was like that before, or if the shooting just vibrated it out some.

I might not have been clear enough with my description. I am not talking about the roll-pin that is down and to the left of the lever. I am referring to the solid pin that is partially covered by the lever, when the lever is turned up (to its normal position).

I think I may have answered this one myself. I took a look at the exploded view diagram in the FAQ section. The pin I am referring to is part #13 (Trigger Headed Pin) and it appears to be a shouldered pin, so I am guessing that it would not be flush with both sides of the frame.
