I went out back yesterday and put another 50 rounds downrange with my .40c. MAN, I love this gun!! It is such a nice gun to shoot.

I need to get some targets, but I did not have any yesterday so an old Costco Pizza box and some tin cans are what I used. I was 30 ft from the targets. For the box, I was aiming at the center circle.

Here are 3 pics.

I always use 8.5x11 copy paper with an orange dot sticker in the middle. You can get the orange dots from midway but have sometimes found them at staples or the likes as price tags. If I am out of stickers I use a red sharpie and draw the dot on.

I have shot up plenty of pizza boxes and fedex boxes as well but I am usually using them as target backers.

Thanks for the links to the targets guys! Dan, that is also a good idea about the orange dot stickers. I think we have a zillion of those here at work

I like to use the small (6 in ?) cheap, white paper plates from the grocery store stapled to cardboard boxes. Put 4 or 5 up at a time with an orange sticker in the middle and go through a few mags before you have to start over. I like the idea of envelopes too, but the plates remind me of the regular old bullseye targets to an extent. Anyway, always good to hear new ideas, thanks guys.

I like taking old milk jugs or 2 litre bottles and making jello to put in them... Then blow the hell out of them. Buying old mannequins from closed stores is fun to shoot at.

I hate to say this, but balloon's are my favorite. Especially for my 10 year old, he gets to see stuff blow-up as he so excitedly states... Its also rewarding for him to see that he is hitting where he is aiming. I like it because I get see stuff blow-up, he he he...
