Have you guys taken any training courses to further your knowledge of firearms?



Today at the range, I signed up for 2 classes. Self Defense and the Law, and Advanced Firearms Training. Im pumped to take them. The self defense course is something I want/need to know about, and from what the instructor was telling me, the advanced firearms class sounds like a blast.



I wish they had classes like these back in high school.

At least your range has courses....I will be doing some travelling to the US to take some more of the courses I like/want to do....hopefully in January and February....



My range has some but they are all safety related and the membership is very small (~200+ members)

I too like to take any course I can get my hands on to further my firearms knowledge. I am a Canadian from Oakbank Manitoba and there aren't too many available but I have taken the Canadian Non Restricted safety course (Mandatory to have license to buy rifles shotguns), the Canadian Restricted firearms (Mandatory to buy handguns etc), and just thiss weekend I took the qualifying course for the Utah state CCW permit. Now when I visit most of the US states I can carry concealed but I just took it to further my knowledge. If there is anyone in my area that knows of any more courses then let me know.
