Happy to share todays range report. The day went extremely well. After a week of dry fire practice I wrung her out today.

The first magazine went very well. On the second magazine I touched off 5 rounds. I turned to my buddy and asked where did they go? He responded that all five rounds went into almost the same hole! He was right. This was at 30 feet. From that point on I started to pick up speed and by sessions end I was successful at touching off 2-3 rounds per second and being deadly accurate too! I am so happy I did not give up on this M&P 45! I now know I can trust my life to it! Next week I will move the target out to my normal 25 yard practice range and see how she does!
Target destroyed!

Well, I was wrong. At 25 yards impacts were to wide. I have not written a follow up because I ended up sending the weapon back to S&W. Today I called S&W to find out they are now sending it back with a new slide, barrel and recoil spring. They are making it right. Chalk one up for their customer service.

I just got the pistol back today with the new slide, barrel and recoil spring. The slide to frame fit is now extremely tight, much tighter than the original units. There is like zero play, almost 1911 like. I see this as a good sign. I will post a range report ASAP.
