WARNING to PEOPLE about SCAMMERS!

Just an FYI to people posting here - ESPECIALLY when you post a WTB ad...

Be aware of scammers. They really have taken over the classified section of ALL the gun forums now.

Be aware - if someone contacts you on this forum about an item.... And they claim that their friend has that item, and you should email that friend at a specific email address - Then IT IS A SCAM. The email address is almost always a Gmail account, but they could use another email provider.

If it was legitimate, they would be doing all business INSIDE of the forum messaging program. If you have to go outside of that to contact someone else, then it is most likely a SCAM.

Be aware - you are pretty much guaranteed to have at least a few scammers contact you if you post any WTB ad. IT is unfortunate, but a fact of life now.

We try to remove them, but they keep registering with new screen names. If someone like this contacts you, PLEASE report it to me.
