Weeeeeell Howdy!

For those who own a new M&P AR-m4 type carbine this is the place.

Also all STAG AR owners! Stag is the supplier for S&W.

I myself have a new STAG identical to the M&P with some extra goodies for the bad guys.

LEO's & US Military are welcome to give advice and join right in.

Some including myself haven't had this weapon in their hands in 30+ years and Ill admit I'm a bit rusty.

I'll build a parts vendor list for quality sources as soon as I can.

First thing at the top of my "had to be" list is the PRI Gas buster charging handle. Damn AR's blow gas right in my eyes and up my nose!!

UN ACCEPTABLE! So here's the cure. http://www.mountsplus.com/miva/merchant.mv...-CHARGE-HANDLES I can breathe!!! It's a miracle!

I don't know that much about about them, but ealier this summer my dealer had one, and I had a Mini-14 that wasn't getting used.....

I've only put about 120 rounds through it so far and haven't done any serious accuracy testing yet.

Thats some decent shooting there Puffy. I had a mini-14 and liked it alot, but after 4-6 shots it would start to drift up and to the right further and further the more you shot it. So i traded it in for a plain jane DPMS AR-15, had much better accuracy from it. But i had a period of time when the money wasnt rolling good, and sold it off. Now im coming back into the market for one again, and the S&W tooks SWEET. I love the folding iron sights, and the overall mean look of the rifle. So far i havent talked to anyone that had fired it yet, and what they think, and it has a steep price tag on it. I know that you are getting more that a stripped down model, but 1500 is still a big number.

Seems old military training came right back. I think the M&P is way pricey. You can spend $750 and get a nice M-4. I like the Stag brand myself.

You can get the basic M&P15 for right around $800 if you can get ahold of a dealer. Nobody ever pays MSRP. Unless you have some money to throw away. Talk to people at your local gun ranges or if you have any friends that are cops ask them if they know an FFL holder. I'm a deputy and have a friend who is a police officer with an FFL. The S&W M&P15 is no more expensive than Bushmaster. Good luck.

I've got a 16" carbine built on a Stag Arms stripped lower, I wanted the heavy barrel so I went to the 16" carbine instead of the M4 profile barrel, the upper is a Del Ton. The flash on the camera makes it look like they don't match well, but they match fine.

I've got a Stag lower on the way, and will probably be ordering a Stag upper soon. What is branded S&W M&P besides the lower receiver?

Would love to match my M&P .40!

G56 -- great looking piece of equipment, almost exactly what I want to build if I go with Del-Ton. What scope is that?

Any other California fixed-mag OLL players?

Well I have a question for all you. On the original buttstock, of the M&P 15 series, did anyone have an issue on how loose and noisy the butstock actuator, or lever was and does anyone have a fix?

Thanks
