I've been telling friends and family to not let the polymer frame fool ya, she shoots like a steel framed gun. Muzzle rise and recoil are less than my Sig 229.

Once the word is out and people get past the old bad rap, M&P's will fly off the shelves. I've never been this impressed with a firearm before.

I keep getting more and more impressed myself. I used to shoot best with higher end 1911s. Took my friends Kimber Target Match for a spin the other day. Shot as fast with my M&P 9mm, maybe a little quicker. Accuracy from 15-25 yards was pretty damn close, a little easier though on the Kimber due to the bomar type sights. Both were more accurate than me and my eyesight, but I didn't have trouble putting up small hand sized groups offhand at 25 yards with either.



Generally though, I believe the best comparison is against the Glock, the pistol that S&W is going after imo.
