I was sold Remington Golden Saber 124g (+p) brass jacketed hollow pt. They said it's what they carry but I would like some other opinions from my fellow M&P family.

It's worth noting that there is more than one school of thought about what makes for good defensive/carry/duty ammo.



For what it's worth, one of the largest federal LE agencies, after extensive testing, chose the 124gr +p Golden Saber for their agency's 9mm pistols. (in fairness, the agency primarily issues .40-cal pistols and does not use Golden Saber for those, but for the nines in inventory they issue the Golden Saber)



There is also likely to be some pretty big news in the world of pistol duty ammo over the next few weeks ... stay tuned ...

Good to hear. These (and 127gr+P+ Ranger-T) are my favorite but I have heard a lot of Boo's for the GS and a lot of praise for the Gold-Dots. I personally don't like the 124gr Gold-Dots.

I barely know more than a hint myself, the details will hopefully follow soon. In the meantime, it's all super-double top-secret with special ninja classification.
