i was at my local gun dealer today, and noticed he didnt have much WWB, nor has he had much for quite some time. So i asked him about it and he told me they have shut down some of there factories and are for sale, possibly to a company in Japan. Has anyone else heard this, or know what is going on if anything at all with winchester?

They shut down the gun manufacturing plant in Connecticut.
It didn't affect ammo manufacturing; it's made elsewhere.

Winchester ammo is owned by Olin Corporation, and has no connection to the gun manufacturing which was US Repeating Arms, they are owned by some foreign corporation, I can't remember the name at this moment.
I just bought a large quantity of Winchester primers, if the components are still available the ammo should be as well.
