With all the free range bags being sent out by S&W, I was wondering what a well stocked range bag would consist of. Considering the size limitations of most range bags, what would y'all consider to be the right contents for the bag?

Good question, being fairly new to shooting consistantly, I'm curious what everyone takes besides the basics(guns, ammo, eye/ear protection, etc.).

I carry more darn crap then I can usually drag from the car - - and - - inevitably I will discover - - each and every trip - - that the one piece of gear that I need/want is either at home on the bench or on a shelf at Home Depot.

The size of my "freight bag" increases every trip.

Well - - Next week I'll get organized.

I shoot at an outdoor range and set my targets at 25 yds. normally. I've found a compact set of binocs to be handy when shooting small calibers (.22).

But then I'm older than dirt..........
