I am trying to get my guns together for when models start to drop off the market due to mag capacity. I see unfortunately the Socialist/Communists (ooops I mean Democrats) getting into office and they still want anouther ban. I will be finishing up my "M4" with in the year, picking up an MP45 (two if I can swing it) , two MP45c's when they come out, Three more Glock 9mm'a and two Kahr PM9's. I want to have a few thousand rounds per caliber of practice ammo and defensive ammo. Full compliment of gear (holsters and such) mags galore along with parts kits for all the guns and mags (at least the AR and Glocks since I can work on them).

Am I wrong???

I think only you can make that determination as what I think I need is likely different than yours.

On the priority factor, the AR needs to come first, along with anything else that might be considered an AW by appearance. The Glocks and M&P's, almost all your pistols, you can wait on, as they will still be availiable, with 10rnd mags.

Don't get your hopes up yet. Short of Hillary taking a position on anything, she's not going to look or sound better than any Rep. canidate. She can;t win an actual argument against them, and certainly not without the media helping her along. A good bit of the country is tired of her claiming she should be the next president simply because she's female.

She claims her experience in the White House alongside Bill is what qualifies her to do the job. Lets look at that (at the risk of starting a flaming war. This is simply my opinion, but I know at least part of it is echoed by many):

1:Her "Experiences" are documented on files in the Clinton Library (not the national archives) and are sealed until 2012 (convenient, eh?). There's no way we can view them unless she lets them out, which she won't.

2: Given the scandals, lies, sex, and excessive taxes that her husband created (which she HAD to know about, since she was having such a big part of Bill's presidency), do you really want either of them in the White House again, to do the same things?

3: She has done NOTHING while she's been Senator. She has started NO legislation, but has been a prime co-sponsor of many that have failed due to their expense and lack of support of the people. Her attendance has been spotty at best.

4:Numerous people, from Secret Service to friends, have said she's a power-monger and is not afraid to use any and all means to break someone's balls to get her way.

Call me crazy, but that is not presidential material there. Again, IMO.

If money is an issue just buy AR receivers. They're in the $100 range. You can add parts later.

Also Glock mags are a good bet during a new AWB. During the last AWB the standard capacity magazines were going for $100.

Also consider registering a receiver as an SBR or some other type of C3 weapon on the federal register. They will either be the first--or the last--weapons to be confiscated by our great benevolent government.

The best thing you can do to avoid this though, is take someone shooting and let them have fun. The more people interested and comfortable with our hobby the less support the tinfoil-left gun-grabbing liberal lunatics will have.

I don't think it's just the democrats you have to be afraid of taking your guns anymore. There are some real wolves in the hen house in the Republican party too. Guiliani and Romney both strike me as gun grabbers as well. I've been told many times that I'm just over worried and that a Republican president could never do that, I look at the last 7 years and say he can do whatever he wants. If someone in office wants your guns, they will get them.
