I'm still thinking about my next AR.

Another question: I think I've narrowed my stock down to 2 choices

-VLTOR EMOD

-LMT SOPMOD

Which one do you guys prefer?

I am doing the same research and I like VLTOR

I have both and have many rounds with both stocks. I prefer the LMT stock. It seems to give me a better cheek weld and is more comfortable.

I guess its all in what you want to do with it. I prefer ACE SOCOM models, they are lightweight and virtually indestructible. But again I see your choices are more for precision shooting rather busting down doors and smashing heads.

Wait until the Magpul UBR is released- by far the sexiest AR stock ever.



Brand new SOPMOD shipped $255.

Brand new EMOD shipped $119.65 or $187.10 for the kit.

Brand new Magpul CTR $89 shipped or $145 for the kit.



No way I'd ever pay $255 for the SOPMOD, and the EMOD looks to much like the Magpul M93B to my eyes. This is all just my opinion, though. If I had to choose between the LMT and the EMOD I'd go with the EMOD - doesn't look bland and it costs half as much.

They run $199 plus shipping. Also, I know someone that has an excellent used one for sale.

So price is not a concern here.

Both stocks are quality. The UBR is about a month out if you want to wait for that.

Sorry, that price on the SOPMOD is for the full kit not just the buttstock.
