Here are a pair of M&P's by Smith & Wesson. Both are still in service. Can you guess which one is 50 years old?

Anyone that can't answer that question needs some more education!

that is a beautiful revolver. something romantic about a service blue revolver.
The older nickel-plated ones can get a bit rough.

But it still shoots as well as when Dad proposed to Mom

If it was the M&P-9, I would say that one (or both).

Im not so sure .40S&W will be around 50 years from now.

Right... Just like the .38 caliber was retired after the military switched to the .45.

And the old Model 10 is one hell of a handgun. I have 3 in my safe that work as well today as the day they were made. In fact, the triggers on them rival the finest gunsmith work and my revolvers are straight factory models. Goes to show what we've lost in the skills of the gunmaker over the years.

I was eyeballing the M&P .357 Magnum. Those are some really nice timeless pieces!
