Has anybody heard of these things??? I am playing around with some cute little color coordination and I think yellow would not only look sweet but be pretty bright and hence serve its purpose... I know they got them for shotties but havent seen any for a pistol.. Thanks in Advance-Jason

I purchased a variety pack of fiber optic for refills.

Red is the brightest with green being a close second. Orange is like red on half volume. Yellow is pretty dim, but you might still use it. Being thin enough for the front sight doesn't work well with it i think. Purple is pretty much useless as it is VERY dim.

Yellow no good

I agree 100% with the above post. Yellow would seem to be very bright, however RED and Green are more effective. For what it is worth, I have found that RED is the brighest in direct sunlight and Green is the brightist in lowlight situations. Good luck, Fiber optics sights work very well, just make sure you secure the fiber optic rod very tight or they will break.
