Fine with me. I'm pretty sure I can stand a couple hits in the balls for a 45C :twisted: I even have a friend who no longer notices when he gets hit there, he is so used to it.

When I where boots, they're steel toed, so I might have the upper hand!

At the Ct State IDPA Champions match earlier this month there were several S&W higher ups who shot the match. S&W was a major sponsor. I spoke with one who is very involved with the M&P line. He told me that the next one out was going to be a commander sized 45. The compact was projected for roll out early next year.

FWIW, I verified today that there are some smaller .45-cal M&P's in existence but it's not yet in production. I was told a compact .45 will be at SHOT and put into production for sale early in '08. Everyone who's handled the gun has been thoroughly impressed. I haven't seen it in person myself.
