I'm hoping Tru-Glo or somebody will come out with a bona fide sight set for it.

I would think that will happen.
I filed down the backup plate till flush with the top of the slide. The Williams sight tapped in nicely. Again, the sight extends past the rear of the slide.
Next it's to the range.

I went to the range today. Used a rest on paper. Needed to move the rear sight to the right. Seems normal for me. Then no rest on the 10" gong.
Thought it might shoot low but was not bad. I'm pleased with the results.

You do know that they come with a tritium front sight that includes a brightly colored circle all around it; right?
The gap in the rear sight is a bit wide for some…

I was curious myself. I purchased a set of Williams f/o sights made to fit the original bodyguard. They fit my Ruger LCP Max. I noticed that really look like they will fit the 2.0 . Think I'm Gonna get another set and try them. They appear to be the same.

I got those for my original Bodyguard, best FO sites IMO!

Mine does; it’s an orange/red circle around the end of the tritium vial, in the rear face of the front sight.

Yep, so does mine...duh! Finally had a chance to really look at it and clean all the shipping oil off of it. I'd rather it was a FO, but it'll do for now. Thanks!

That’s great. I was afraid that yours may have had a broken tritium vial.

Look at the difference in the dovetail thickness between the original BG and the BG2.0. The BG2.0 base is much thicker than the BG.

The difference in the thickness of the dovetail is readily noticable and the BG front sight is much thinner than for the BG2.0. Have to wait for proper one to be available.

Made a set out of two sets. Rear sight is for the original Bodyguard. Front is for a Shield EZ9, but while it slides in with thumb pressure, there's no slop in it. I used Permatex Orange Threadlocker and it's holding up very well. Several hundred rounds and still tight and can't push it out with thumb pressure.

My Bodyguard 2.0 will soon be here, and I'll naturally want to change out the front sight to a fiber optic of some sort. I'm just wondering if the sights on the 2.0 are the same as the 1.0 or perhaps the Shield. I want to think S&W didn't want to reinvent the wheel as far as these sights go, but I'm just not sure. Any thoughts on the matter?

Ran the first 100 rds through the new BG 2.0 Here’s a few thoughts:

• Wow it’s really small. Easy to grip even with small hands
• No malfunctions. Snappy action. Recoil fine for male & female
• Racking slide may be difficult for some. A result of small package design/mechanics.

SIGHTS Reddish color on front post too dark. Should have gone with a bright color or go black. Will replace with a BigDot sight product once it’s released

Me, too. Sure wish they'd put a little extra time into it and have all that info on upgrade parts in their tech specs.

I just picked mine up yesterday. My front sight is visibly off center. I'm going to center it up today.
I'm still hoping to find a replacement rear sight. The front glow sight is useless if I can't see the rear when its dark, but also id really like to find a rear sight that has a narrower opening.
Is there still nothing available for the 2.0?

Ok Greg I'm really having a blonde moment here I have tried several times to move the rear sight no success. It appears the striker plate is holding it from moving. Used a punch and tried a sight pusher. Help!
