The reviews on this gun are consistently pretty good. For me, it's an attractive option to complement other S&W 9mm pistols. The interchangeable magazines are another big plus.

I wonder how practical it really is as a defensive gun. I also wonder how suitable it is for small game.

Overall I'm giving it a serious look.
It's no different than any other 9mm PCC.

I have two Beretta CX4s, and have owned 2 in the past. I think they make a great home defense gun. I don't want to shoot off a 5.56 rifle inside my home. And even outside... WIth no hearing protection in a self defense scenario - I'd rather have the PCC.

PCCs are easily fantastic out to 50 yards with tight groups. And, one can still hit a target out to 100 yards - your group size will open up a bit, but not too bad.

A Youtube review from TFB TV (about a different 9mm carbine) a few months ago stated that 9mm out of a PCC hits like a 357 mag. You do get added velocity with the longer barrel.

I like the folding aspect. It is also lighter than many other PCCs.

And, reviews I have seen about it indicate that it shoots tighter groups than the Beretta CX4 can.
